Introduction

In mid-2022,digital creator and Twitch streamer Skyllabtw approached us to create a dedicated website for Tetralympic - a biannual online tournament hosted in collaboration with SG Tetris. What began as a community-driven event on Discord and social media had quickly grown into a well-loved competition streamed to global audiences.

Our task was to give the Tetralympic its own digital home. Something that not only delivered the event information clearly, but also matched the speed, energy, and culture of competitive modern Tetris.

The Challenge

Before this, Tetralympic lived across Discord threads, social media posts, and Twitch streams, making it hard for new audiences to follow the event, understand the structure, or know how to get involved.

We set out to create a better digital experience; one that consolidated everything into a single platform that’s informative, exciting, and easy to navigate. From showcasing highlight reels to simplifying signups and promoting community support, our job was to turn fragmented updates into a seamless, engaging journey.

Design & Development

We built the Tetralympic website on Webflow, crafting a layout that was clean and accessible, but packed with subtle energy. Scroll-triggered Tetrimino animations, geometric 3D visuals, and bold color accents helped bring out the tournament’s competitive yet playful spirit.

While the site was designed to look dynamic, We also weaved in key information seamlessly into the experience, including:

·       Season highlight reels embedded from YouTube

·       Full tournament breakdowns, brackets, and key dates

·       Organiser and sponsor showcase

·       A donation section to support the prize pool

Everything was structured to be easy to find, read, and explore. Making the experience smooth for both first-time visitors and long-time fans.

Summary

Although this was Tetralympic’s first standalone website, we built it with future seasons in mind. We created a brand-aligned visual identity, a repeatable content structure, and a clear system for event updates. The result? A fun, functional, and professional platform that streamlines access to tournament info, supports donations, and brings the community together under one roof.
